Shermie and Sol in Manila

Friends in your life are like the pillars on your front porch. Sometimes they hold you up and sometimes they lean on you. Sometimes it’s just enough to know they are standing by.

Shermie is an awesome lady. Our wonderful friendship started in Dubai at Swiss Flora 2006, were office mates. Sometimes the best friendship starts with the smile. My friendship with Shermie begun with work and business, and little acts of kindness developed into good friendship. As a great friend once said, if someone is truly worth having in your life, you will go through anything to keep them there.

In Manila
Friendship always grows in love, trust and sincerity!

Thank you so much for being a part of my life in UAE and we will continue our friendship forever.

Malou and Sol, Three Decades of Friendship!

I have known Malou for three long decades. We were classmates in College at the University of Santo Tomas and became best of friends. Our love and trust bind us deeper as the years go by.

Malou will always be a wonderful demure lady in her actions and words to everyone. Her shyness makes me see her most unique self. And she wins my heart so easily. We got along so well, that we never even had petty misunderstanding. It was a smooth sailing friendship.

We made our youth life a lot more fun.
Malou remains in shape and Sol become lesser round.

We usually spent our long break time in our apartment in Pandacan where we usually do our plates and assignments together. Those were our long days and sleepless nights doing our thesis plates and many more. Wonderful Malou will always be my first favorite walking partner, gallivanting in Hidalgo and even far away Recto.

We never get tired laughing at our own selves!

We have many fond favorite memories together. How can we forget each other, whenever I started cracking a joke, surely she'll blushed and laugh until she cried.

We could laugh at any simple thing, at ourselves and in everything, even in the littlest actions. "Ika nga, patok na patok lahat ng jokes namin sa isat-isa."

We didn't see each other more often as we were in our college days, and in 1996 I became the godmother of Loisse Zhanelle, 3rd child of Malou and Arnel.

I would always love to hear her stories. She's so sincere in words and in thoughts, full of patience and understanding. She is a wonderful servant of God in her ministry. She is a very good preacher, and spreading the word of God and our salvation passionately. You can truly feel the Holy Spirit in her inner most thoughts, she is a gift to many and you can feel every word coming from her heart with simplicity.

Little Trivia
Let me share one of my many favorites. One time we agree to play for a while. We played truth or consequence game with other friends Prudence and Marivi in our school canteen downstairs. As the bottle turned around and stopped, finally it is pointed out to Malou, she answered with confidence "TRUTH!" so, It's my turn to ask the question. I asked her "Mayroon ka bang patay na kuko sa paa?" Aba!

"We give gift generously because we love."

Decades may pass as by. We might have our few grey hair and a pair of reading glasses. We might have gone our innocent youth looks at once, yet the hearts never forget the song. We could still remind each other how to find the right tune. We gain more wisdom through the years. We learn to see the power of love is more than any great strength we could ever find, and love is all that matters to give and received.

Happy Birthday celebration for you dear Malou! (November 27, 2013)

Our religion was never a hindrance for us to understand the graces and blessings of life and our purpose in life according to God's plan for us.
