Sister Emma Dizon a Marian Devotee and Visionary

Time flies so past and it's been more than a decade since the last time we saw and hugged each other so tight. "Di pa uso ang Facebook pero" we never lost in touch.

I still remember how Me and my husband 1st met Sister Emma Dizon, a visionary, a blue blooded Marian Devotee and a founder of Mama Mary Apostolate Cursillo.

I can't believe that you’re gone so early my friend. I miss that I’ll never be able to visit you again in your sweet home.  I miss you and a true friend in you and that I’ll never have it again the way your comforting thoughts delivers to me with gladness when you wrap your arms around Me and give Me a big, big hug.

As you were dying, did you wonder if people would remember you? Then let me tell you that I will remember you forever and hold you close in my heart.

I wonder what you were thinking as your life ended. I remember you can even see or predict your last day and that was it. Did you wonder if your life mattered? Then let me tell you that it did. That in those few days together in Cursillo and in your many apostolate works you touched my heart with your kindness, your laughter, your positive energy. And above all else with your beautiful heart, beautiful smile full of faith in God. I wan't you to know how I value your seed in me, including your propagation of Divine Mercy and as part of it I continue meditating my chaplet of Mercy.

Priceless souvenir picture of Me with Sister Emma Dizon

Benefit Concert "For the Love of Mama"

It's Monday, November 23, 2015. Me and my family are all ready to see the most awaited concert for a cause "For The Love Of Mama" at Sm MOA Arena. A Benefit concert for the construction of Kristong Hari Church Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City and "Anawin" home for the Elderly.

The evening was full of fantastic moments. The performer's are performing well, they are truly gifted. They can speak well their language into their music and it goes straight to our heart.

The 1st number was so heavenly, the angelic voice of Ms Fatima Soriano surrounds the hall, everyone are quiet and perhaps with happy tears like me.

Let me gratefully count the special blessing of Brother Bo Sanchez to all Mama. It brings delight to my heart and perhaps to all Mama during that night.

Wonderful Michael Angelo Lobrin makes us laugh a lot especially with his "Tabingi" story. He makes us laugh with his adlib things along with his song number. No dull moment.

Kerygma 5 (Alvin Barcelona, Obet Cabrillas, Adrian Panganiban, Arun Cogna and Jon Escoto) gave us lively medley songs. It was so cute to hear Brother Adrian story about his Marian Miracle, he said, he lost his voice for a week and just that day he gain it back and was able to sing well again.

The Six Priest in the City (Fr. Erick Santos, Fr. James Nitollama, Fr. Joel Jayson, Fr. Allan Samonte, Fr. Steve Zabala and fr. Ray Pascual) performs their joyful number.

Erik Santos gave us his best performance in his 3 songs, i find his voice really great.

Young man Alden Richard of "AlDub" render us 3 great songs, he brings the crowd to giggle "hiyawan na may kasamang sigawan at padyakan ng paa." He is real good handsome man of this time. He loves Jesus and Mama Mary and he was grateful to all his blessings in the industry. Btw, the cutest thing there was when he ask everyone to sing along with him with his favorite song "God gave me you."

The magnificent evening was completed by more great performer's such as Sancho and Sofia delas Alas, Gabbi Garcia, Jay Gonzaga, Raru Madrid, Kylie Padilla, Nikki Valdez, Ron Dancers, The Philippine Madrigal Singers.

This is the 1st concert produced by our very own fantastic actress/comedienne and a true Marian Devotee Ms. Aiai Delas Alas under Meda Production. The show was truly a fantastic/successful one.

All proceeds of the concert will go for the construction of Kristong Hari Church
Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City and "Anawin" home for the Elderly.

The Dubai Fountain

October 4, 2014, and it's Eid Al Adha celebration. We're having our holiday (No work) here in UAE.  I and My friend Anita went to Burj Khalifa to see the spectacular dancing fountain at Dubai Mall.

The night time coordination between the lighting and the water is amazing. The water moves gracefully in arcs then pulses with a rhythm that seems alive. The finale shoots water up in the air for what appears 150 feet. The best place to view the fountains is from the patios of one of the restaurants around the pool. I watched it from the ground only because the restaurants are all full timely for the show.

The Dubai Fountain is the world's largest choreographed fountain system set on the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake, at the center of the Downtown Dubai development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

From Wikipedia:
The Dubai Fountain was designed by WET Design, the California-based company responsible for the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel Lake in Las Vegas. Illuminated by 6,600 lights and 25 colored projectors, it is 275 m (902 ft) long and shoots water up to 500 ft (152.4 m) into the air accompanied by a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. It was built at a cost of AED 800 million (USD $218 million).

The name of the fountain was chosen after a contest organized by the developer Emaar Properties, the result of which was announced on 26 October 2008. Testing of the fountain began in February 2009, and the fountain was officially inaugurated on 8 May 2009 along with the official opening ceremony of The Dubai Mall. On 2 January 2010, the length of Dubai fountains was increased to 275 m (902.2 ft).

Burj Lake Boat Ride. Ticket (AED 65) counter opposite 'Wafi Gourmet' near the lake,
counter opens from 5:45 pm till 10:30 pm. Max 6 persons per boat.
The ride is about 30 mins, boat departs approx every 30 mins.
Apparently, you can also book the ticket online.

Early for the show is a must when visiting the City. The fountains are situated at the rear of the mall.
A wonderful display truly breathtaking. They only last for five minutes or so
but are repeated each evening several times. There are plenty of bars to sit and watch
the display but many just gather there along the mall to watch.

When visiting Dubai Mall I came across Wafi Gourmet. I am so happy I found this place. When I walked in from inside the Dubai Mall I didn't realize that you can see the fountains from the cafeteria terrace on the other side. Then I saw all the wonderful food presented beautifully. Service is good and prices are reasonable.

Wafi Gourmet, is Lebanese cafe, with Lebanese maze and food,
it's nice complex of the cafe, herbs market and fruit corner and Oriental pastries.

Spectacular Lights at Ayala Triangle Garden, Ayala Land

November 12, 2015 was a wonderful day with a fair windy weather for Me and My family day out, together we explore the enchanted lights at Ayala Land in Makati.

How wonderful to be back in the past tracks of my time for a moment, how time flies so fast and while walking side by side with my husband along the side walk going towards Ayala Triangle. Sweet memories of our younger times flashing back in our memory. Gladly we're enjoying each others unique working stories from our younger years in the business capital of the Philippines, the brightest and the most exciting days for Me and surely for the many (Makati Yuppies) young professionals here in Makati.

The most awaited annual light show was one of the most favorite thing here. They love to gather in this place for relaxation after long day of work.

The Ayala Center’s Festival of Lights opened Monday, November 9, at Ayala Triangle Gardens, with a blaze of lights and sounds, in time for the holiday season.

The Festival of Lights will be shown 30 minutes nightly, from 6pm to 10pm, until January 4, 2016.

Finally we we're able to experience the annual "Enchanting and Spectacular"
holiday display of dancing lights and sounds at Ayala Triangle Garden, brought to us by Ayala Land.

We truly enjoyed the lighted island along the length of Ayala Avenue.

We notice the biggest innovation around the tallest building of my time
the Makati Stock Exchange building at the Ayala Triangle,
before Nauro Building was rise in Makati Avenue.
